The script has been in the works for over a decade, but was completed only recently. "It's going to be fantastic. It's going to be the best one yet," George Lucas was quoted as saying. No word on what the plot to new movie will be, only Lucas saying that it will include some interesting mysteries.
Ford says that he is excited to be doing the fourth installment of the series with Lucas and Spielberg, and says that he is still fit enough to play the role, despite the fact that he is now 64 years old.
