Johnny Depp To Bring Litvinenko To Silver Screen
Johnny Depp's company, Infinitum Nihil , will be developing a story about Alexander Litvinenko, a former KGB agent who was poisoned in November. Warner brothers has purchased the rights to a book about the mysterious death of the agent.
The novel, "Sasha's Story: The Life and Death of a Russian Spy" will be written by Alan Cowell. Cowell is a New York Times London bureau chief. He has been covering the story since it broke in November.
There is still an ongoing investigation into the death of Litvinenko. He was poisoned by polonium - 210, and just before his death, blamed Russian President Vladimir Putin's regime for the murder.
The book is expected to be published by Doubleday later this year.
