Relive 90s Television With The New Adventures of Robin Hood

Relive 90s Television With The New Adventures of Robin Hood
In 1997, in hopes of matching the success of Xena and Hercules the Turner Broadcasting Network created the New Adventures of Robin Hood.

Robin, a heroic outlaw and his partners, Marion, Friar Tuck and Little John, use magic, sorcery and courage to fight anyone who dares to tyrannize the people of 12th Century England.

I somehow missed this show when it aired in the 1990s. When able to finally view the show I was immediately drawn to it since I am a huge fan of fantasy television from this era.

Even though the storylines sometimes border on the ridiculous and the acting is overly dramatic, The New Adventures of Robin Hood is still a fun campy show to watch on a weekend when you want to relax.

If you watched this show while it was airing in the 90s then this is a must buy for your collection, and even fans of Xena or Hercules will most likely be calling this one of your favorites for a long time.

This is the first in several Warner Bros TV series/seasons never before released on DVD (including contemporary and classic shows) that will be made available on the WBshop.com.
