Ricky Gervais to Become a "Mole"

According to Variety, Ricky Gervais will be voicing the character of "Mole" in the upcoming film, The Wind in the Willows".

The newest version of the classic story was written by Bill Marsilii and Ray Griggs will be directing. Pre-production with be beginning this year in New Zealand, with Weta providing the visual effects.

"The Wind in the Willows" story has been adapted many times, with the most popular being a 52 episode stop-motion animation series that ran from 1984-1990.
