At long last Halle Berry has been confirmed for Brad Anderson's forth coming thriller "The Hive". Berry's name has long been associated with the movie and in October last year the then director Joel Schumacher had the actress in his sights for the role of a 911 operator.

Written by Rich D'Ovidio (Exit Wounds and Thir13en Ghosts) The Hive is centred on an emergency operator who is trying to help out a young girl while having to confront a killer from her past and is due out in theatres in 2013. Although you do not have to wait that long to see the Academy award winning actress as she will be appearing on the big screen later this month in the deep water thriller Dark Tide.
