Home Depot Celebrates The Release of The Lorax with Family Fun

This past weekend, FlickDirect got a chance to participate in the Home Depot for the "Lorax" workshop. The workshop was being held as a promotion of the Blu-ray and DVD launch of "Dr. Seuss' The Lorax" on August 7.

The project we participated in was "Build a Cork Bulletin Board." This was a really great project, one that I knew my granddaughter would have fun doing and fun using. Kids all gathered around the table, grabbed their goods, and were off! After assembling the wooden frame around the cork, the kids could use all sorts of colors of paint to customize their boards with. All the kids also received a Lorax activity sheet as well as stickers. It was nice to see my granddaughter enjoy herself and take pride in making something with her own hands.

The Home Depot offers other kid's workshops as well, and our staff will be sure to check them out from now on!

Purchase a copy of Universal's The Lorax on Blu-ray and DVD from Amazon.com.
