Director David Fincher Looks Into Crowd Funding For His Next Project
Filmmaker David Fincher has failed at attempts to get traditional financing for his film "The Goon", so he has turned to Kickstarter to see if he can fund the film.

The animated film has been in development for several years. One stumbling black has been the fact that the film paranormal comedy is rated PG-13. Many financial backers are leery of funding animated films that aren't considered all-ages entertainment.  Fincher was tied to the project as an executive producer with Tim Miller and Jeff Fowler co-directing.

A video has been posted along with a request for $400,000.00 for funding a story reel for the project.
