TV's Beloved Conrad Bain Dies at 89
Conrad Bain, best known for his role of Phillip Drummond on "Diff'rent Strokes," has died at 89.  The actor's daughter, Jennifer Bain, confirmed the news, saying,  "He just died of old age". According to her, he wasn't suffering from any illnesses.

Bain starred in the 1970's sitcom "Maude", alongside Bea Arthur, and then was cast in  "Diff'rent Strokes." He played a millionaire widow who takes in his deceased housekeeper's two sons. The show ran from 1978-1985 on NBC and for one final season on ABC in 1986.  

Bain was surrounded by his daughter and son when he passed.  There will be no funeral or public memorial.
