Marvel, Sony and Paramount Skipping Comic-Con This Year
Comic-Con is fast approaching us, and some fans may be disappointed in the lack of presence from some top studios.  Marvel, Sony and Paramount will all be absent from this year's festivities.

A Marvel spokesman said, "It wasn't a knock against Comic-Con, the film cycles just didn't allow it."  Marvel already held a special event in October announcing their new wave of Avengers.

Sony and Paramount also stated that they simply didn't have any material to promote there.

Comic-Con will still be a host to fan favorites such as Star Wars and Hunger Games as well as a rumored event for Justice League  which features Batman, Superman, the Flash and Aquaman.

Comic-Con will be held from July 9-12 at the San Diego Convention Center.
