Kevin Williamson Bringing Time Travel Drama to ABC
Kevin Williamson, creator of The Following and Stalker, has a new project on the horizon.  The new drama series will be based on the 1979 novel, Time After Time.  The series will chronicle the travels of a young H.G. Wells and his time machine.

The plot of the series will follow along the lines of book.  In it, a proud Wells shows off his time machine to friends, not knowing that his one friend, surgeon Leslie John Stephenson, is the infamous Jack the Ripper.  After Scotland Yard begins to catch on to him, Ripper winds up using the time machine to flee, getting transported to San Francisco in 1979.

Williamson will be writing and executive producing for the series.
