In 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' Neil Patrick Harris Will Grace The Television Screen as Count Olaf
Netflix is really taking the television industry by storm with its original series airing in 4K UHD resolution.  In 2016, Netflix aired over 600 hours of original context and we are hoping that 2017 will exceed that number.

One of the nine confirmed originals is Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events. Neil Patrick Harris will grace the television screen as Count Olaf.  One can only hope that this will be much better than the 2004 movie and expectations are high enough that Harris' performance will be scrutinized. Is Harris good enough to make the series a success?

In the previews,  Harris brings his sarcastic humor to the role of Count Olaf and all the other characters that he plays. Apparently, Count Olaf tries many disguises in order to steal the children's inheritance but these children are smart and they constantly call Olaf out on his disguises.   While Harris appears to be an immature and comical figure, in contrast, the children are mature and well developed in their thought process.

The first season of A Series of Unfortunate Events will consist of eight episodes.  Every two episodes will represent one of the books in the series. Therefore, four of the books will be made into Netflix originals for Season One.

All eight episodes air on Netflix in Ultra HD 4K and high definition resolution on January 13, 2017.  Don't miss what looks like another great series for Neil Patrick Harris and Netflix.
