"Timeless", the NBC time traveling drama, has been given a reprieve. The show, which was recently canceled by the network, is now being picked up for another 10 episodes.

The show had modest ratings and a loyal fan base, including netwrok exectuives. NBC Entertainment president Jenifer Salke said, "We really like it. I didn't think it was going to be like This Is Us, but I am a little surprised that it didn't settle in at a higher number."

"Timeless", a family friendly show, features chracters that go abck in time during major historical events.

The renewal means that the show will be able to pick up where it left off, on a cliffhanger (of course).
