Fox and Disney to Vote on $2.4 Billion Acquisition in July
A vote will take place in July as to whether or not 21st Century Fox will be selling the bulk of its assets to Disney. Shareholders will also consider the offer made by Comcast Corp.

Disney has offered $52.4 billion to Fox for the acquisition but Comcast decided to weigh in with an offer as well, reportedly around $60 billion. The decision will be voted on during a July 10 investor meeting. It's been said that Fox has recommended that shareholders vote in favor of Disney's offer.

Disney has also set up their shareholder meeting for that day. Their meeting is set for 10 a.m. at the New Amsterdam Theatre in Manhattan and Fox's will be held at the same time at the New York Hilton Midtown.
