Johnny Depp To Take on Pee-Wee Herman
Paul Reubens, more famously known as Pee-Wee Herman, plans to bring back the popular Pee-Wee's Playhouse show. This time, however, it will be in film form as Pee-Wee's Playhouse: The Movie.

The movies, which are planned to come to the big screen in 2009, were set to star Reubens as himself; however he recently stated that he had asked Johnny Depp if he would be interested in the role. According to Reubens, Depp said, "Let me think about it."

Reubens and Depp starred together in 2001's Blow, and also share a connection in Tim Burton. Pee-Wee's Big Adventure was one of Burton's first films, and Depp is well known for working with Burton.

No word on whether or not Burton will be directing these films as well.
