Disney Announces Hercules Live Action Remake

The next film getting a live-action remake has been announced by Disney. "Hercules", the animated film released in 1997, has been tapped to be the next in line.

Joe and Anthony Russo will be producing the film, with Dave Callaham penning the script.

The 1997 original featured the voices of Tate Donovan (Hercules) and James Woods (Hades). There's no casting news or word on what the plot will be, or if the film will feature musical elements.

The Russo brothers won't be directing this film, they will only be serving as producers.
