Voice actors for the upcoming series "Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai" have been announced. Ming-Na Wen, BD Wong, James Hong, and Matthew Rhys will be starring in the animated series. Izaac Wang will voice Sam Wing. Other cast members include A.J. LoCascio, who will voice Gizmo, and Gabrielle Green, who will voice Ellie.
The 10-episode series will feature a young Sam Wing in 1920s Shanghai and how he met Gizmo. We will meet a 10-year old Sam, along with a street thief named Elle, and, of course, Gizmo. The group travels along the Chinese countryside battling monsters and spirits from Chinese folklore.
Tze Chun will write the series with Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey executive producing. Amblin will produce alongside Warner Bros. Animation.
