Top Gun: Maverick to Screen First at CinemaCon

It has been announced that "Top Gun: Maverick", which will premiere in San Diego on May 4, will also be getting a screening at CinemaCon.

CinemaCon will take from April 25-28 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, and is the Official Convention of The National Association of Theatre Owners. The event has become an important gathering for the worldwide motion picture theater industry, attracting attendees from more than 80 countries.

The film will also be screened at Cannes Film Festival on May 18.

"Top Gun" was released in 1986 and was a blockbuster success as well as earning four Academy Award nominations for four categories and winning Best Original Song for "Take My Breath Away" performed by Berlin.
