Disney Theme Parks Announce Ticket Price Reductions

Bob Iger stepped back into the role of CEO for Disney back in November 2022, and he's been making some changes.

In a letter sent to employees from Disney's theme parks chairman Josh D'Amaro, it stated that the company would be reinstating one of the free services that had been pulled under for CEO Bob Chapek's tenure. Guests will once again be able to download ride photos for free. There will still be a charge if they want the photos printed.

Also announced was an increase in the number of days that Disneyland would charge their lowest price of $104 per day for adults. Their highest price runs $179 per day. In Disney World, tickets will remain at a range from $159-$189 per day for adults.

Bob Chapek was ousted as CEO in November after two years. He had gained a bad reputation after some unpopular decisions he made. It is said that Iger was critical of him during this time, including his decision to keep hiking theme park prices.
