Verity Teaser Reveals a Dangerous Web of Lies and Obsession
Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson headline the adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestselling thriller
Amazon MGM Studios has released the first teaser trailer for Verity, the upcoming psychological thriller based on Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel. Directed by Michael Showalter, the film stars Anne Hathaway, Dakota Johnson, Josh Hartnett, Ismael Cruz Córdova, and Brady Wagner in a dark mystery centered around obsession, manipulation, and buried secrets.
The story follows struggling writer Lowen Ashleigh as she begins uncovering disturbing confessions hidden within unpublished manuscripts belonging to famous author Verity Crawford. As Lowen grows closer to Verity’s husband, Jeremy, the line between truth and deception begins to blur in what looks to be one of the year’s most suspenseful psychological thrillers.
