Joss Whedon Is Moving On To A Cabin In The Woods

Joss Whedon, creator of "Buffy" and "Angel", has decided that he will go full throttle with film "Cabin in the Woods", and discard plans of making the horror/fantasy film, "Goners".

Whedon co-wrote the script with Drew Goddard of "Lost" and "Cloverfield" fame. Goddard told MTV News that "It's genius, it's funny. It's got a harder and darker edge, but it's also got classic Whedon qualities. It'll rip your heart out and be heartfelt at the same time."

The pair have yet to shop the project around but Whedon is set to produce the film as well. Whedon also confirmed that despite co-writing the comic, he will not be involved with Brian K. Vaughan's adaptation of "Runaways".

Whedon will be producing the film as well.  He says that they haven't shopped the film around as of yet.  He has also recently confirmed that he will not have any involvement in Brian K. Vaughan's adaptation of "Runaways", even though he co-wrote the comic.
