Monsters Ready To Attack Disney

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney has acquired the rights to the graphic novel, "Monster Attack Network".  The novel was published in 2007 by AIT/Planet Lar.

Disney is looking to make a film of the novel, written by Marc Bernardin and Adam Freeman.  The story is set on the Pacific island of Lapuatu, which is populated by giant monsters. There, a team of adventurers deal with rampages and related crises and clean up messes afterwards. The team faces its biggest challenge when a shady industrialist shows up.

No further details on production are available as of yet.
