Warner Bros Pictures To Being Mass Effect To Big Screen

Electronic Arts Inc. has reported that Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures have acquired the film rights to "Mass Effect", A hit BioWare game.

The sci-fi storyline of the game takes place in 2183. The commander of the SS Normandy, Commander Shepherd, leads a team to defeat an alien race that invades the galaxy every 50,000 years, killing every living thing in its path.

The film will be produced by Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni, Avi and Ari Arad.
