According to Screen Daily, the classic "Peter Pan" story will be retold as a dark, kidnap thriller.

Aaron Eckhart will star as Captain Hook, who, in this version, is a former detective who is investigating a childlike kidnapper. Anna Sophia Robb will play Wendy, who is the lone survivor, leaves her asylum in order to help with the investigation.

Also in the film will be Smee, Hook's ally on the force,  who is being played by Sean Bean.

The film was written by Ben Magid, and will be directed by Ben Hibon.

Filming will begin October in Eastern Europe.
