On March 25, 1942, Aretha Louise Franklin (Jennifer Hudson; Dreamgirls) was born in Memphis, Tennessee and from a young age, she would sing in the church where her father was a minister. Her talent was readily apparent and, as an adult, she was dubbed the "Queen of Soul". It was merely a matter of time before a biopic was made about her life called RESPECT. Heading to theaters this month, United Artists Releasing, in conjunction with FlickDirect, would like to offer some lucky winners one electronic admit-two pass to see an advance screening on August 10, 2021, at 7:30 pm at either AMC Aventura (Miami), AMC Veterans (Tampa), Regal Avenues (Jacksonville) or Cinemark Palace 20 (Boca Raton) before the film is released in theaters on August 16, 2021.
To enter for a chance to win one, admit-two pass to see RESPECT follow these easy steps:
- Subscribe to the FlickThat Movie Podcast on your favorite podcasting platform
- Send an email with a screenshot verifying you subscribed to the podcast along with your preferred screening location to contest@flickdirect.com (Subject: RESPECT contest)
Aretha Franklin sings in her father's church choir as a child and grows up to become an international musical superstar and the Queen of Soul, while simultaneously enduring an abusive marriage, constraints of patriarchy, and being actively involved in the civil rights movement.
The contest ends August 8, 2021
