HAROLD AND KUMAR ESCAPE FROM GUANTANAMO BAY marks the triumphant return of these two hilarious, slacker anti-heroes. The movie stars John Cho (AMERICAN PIE I & II, AMERICAN DREAMZ) as Harold and Kal Penn (VAN WILDER 2: THE RISE OF TAJ, EPIC MOVIE) as Kumar, two stoners who can't seem to get a break. Their last adventure found them traveling across country to find a White Castle hamburger in order to satisfy a weed-induced case of “the munchies.”
This time, the boys get themselves in trouble trying to sneak a bong onboard a flight to Amsterdam. Now, being suspected of terrorism, they are forced to run from the law and try to find a way to prove their innocence. What follows is an irreverent and epic journey of deep thoughts, deeper inhaling and a wild trip around the world that is as “un-PC” as it gets.

Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay Theatrical Review
This time, the boys get themselves in trouble trying to sneak a bong onboard a flight to Amsterdam. Immediately, they are suspected of terrorism. What follows is an irreverent and epic journey of deep thoughts, deeper inhaling and a wild trip around the world that is as "un-PC" as it gets, as they run from the law to prove their innocence.
The film begins with Harold & Kumar getting ready for their journey to Amsterdam so that Harold can find the love of his life. In usual Harold and Kumar style, Kumar sneaks marijuana on the plane and then the hyjinx resume.
From escaping Guantanamo Bay to meeting up with their old friend Neil Patrick Harris (of Doogie Houser and How I meet your Mother fame), the fun and craziness times never stop in this fun sequel to the original film. In fact, look for a surprise little chat with our crazy 20 something kids with a certain president.
If you are looking for a fun movie to escape from the real world for an hour or two look no further than Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay.
Editor note: Be sure to stay past the credit to see what happens to personally my favorite character of the entire film!
