Effective and Last Updated: July 16, 2026

Profile photos, usernames, comments, replies, ratings, and reviews submitted to the Services are public. Do not include information you want to keep private.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how FlickDirect Inc. ("FlickDirect," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information through the iOS and Android versions of the Movies NOW! mobile application and related FlickDirect features, feeds, websites, accounts, and services that link to this Policy (collectively, the "Services").

This Policy does not govern information collected independently by Apple, Google, YouTube, streaming providers, retailers, or other third parties under their own policies.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

3. Public Profiles and User Content

Your username, profile photo, comments, replies, ratings, reviews, and associated movie activity may be publicly displayed through the App, FlickDirect websites, public feeds, APIs, search engines, or related Services. Other people may view, save, screenshot, quote, or redistribute public content outside our control.

We log the IP address and server timestamp associated with account registration, comments, and replies for moderation, security, fraud prevention, enforcement, and legal compliance. These IP addresses are not displayed in public comment feeds or profiles.

Do not upload another person's image or personal information without lawful permission. Do not include an email address, telephone number, home address, financial information, precise location, health information, or other sensitive information in public content.

4. Sources of Information

We collect information directly from you, automatically from your device and use of the Services, from app stores and integrated providers, from other users who interact with or report content, and from fraud-prevention, security, and service providers.

5. How We Use Information

We use information to:

6. How We Disclose Information

We do not sell account information for money. We may disclose information in the following circumstances:

We may disclose aggregate or de-identified information for lawful business purposes. We do not attempt to re-identify information treated as de-identified, except to test whether our de-identification processes are effective.

7. Advertising, Analytics, Google, YouTube, and Notifications

The Services may use Google services, including YouTube API Services, Google Mobile Ads, analytics tools, and Firebase or similar notification and diagnostic services. These providers may process device identifiers, IP addresses, usage information, ad interactions, diagnostics, and coarse location under their own policies and our configurations. Use of YouTube features is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Some advertising practices may be considered "sharing," "targeted advertising," or "cross-context behavioral advertising" under certain privacy laws even when no money is exchanged for personal information. Where required, we request permission or provide an opt-out. You can manage advertising and tracking permissions through applicable iOS or Android device settings and may also use available privacy or consent controls in the App. Contextual or non-personalized ads may still appear.

Push notifications require a device token and are processed through Apple and/or Google notification infrastructure. You can disable notifications in your device settings.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

App web views and related websites may use cookies, local storage, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies for sessions, preferences, security, analytics, advertising, and feature operation. Device and browser controls may limit some technologies, but doing so may affect functionality. Where required by law, we honor applicable consent choices and recognized opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control.

9. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain an account, fulfill the purposes described above, and meet legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and enforcement needs. Retention periods vary by data type and context.

Public User Content is generally retained while your account is active. Reports, moderation records, transaction records, and security logs may be retained longer where reasonably necessary. Deleted information may remain temporarily in restricted backups or caches until overwritten through ordinary processes. Information may also be preserved when required by law or a valid legal request.

10. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

You may update certain profile information, change your profile photo, manage app and notification settings, and delete content through available account features. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or an appeal; withdraw consent; or opt out of certain targeted advertising, sharing, or profiling.

Submit a request through available in-app privacy controls or email connect@flickdirect.com. Describe your request and provide the account username and email needed for verification. We may request additional information to verify identity and authority. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

11. Account Deletion

You may initiate deletion through Delete Account in the App's settings. A verified deletion request will delete or de-identify the account and associated personal information from active systems, including the profile photo and User Content associated with the account, unless retention is required or permitted for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, transaction, or enforcement purposes.

We cannot retrieve copies of public content that other people captured, copied, or shared outside our control. Limited information may remain temporarily in backups or be retained where law permits. Deleting an account does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription; subscriptions must be canceled through the applicable app store.

12. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 may not create accounts or submit personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 without legally required parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.

13. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No Internet transmission, application, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for using a strong, unique password, protecting your device and credentials, and notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.

14. International Data Processing

FlickDirect is based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws than your country. Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for international transfers.

15. Legal Bases for Processing

Where a law requires a legal basis, we process information as necessary to provide the Services and perform our agreement with you; for legitimate interests such as security, moderation, support, analytics, and service improvement; with consent where required; and to comply with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing.

16. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may link to or embed third-party content, players, stores, and services. Those parties may collect information directly from you. Their handling of information is governed by their policies, not this Policy. Review their privacy terms before providing information.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in features, practices, providers, or law. We will post the updated Policy and revise the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before materially different processing.
