While at the famed Comic-con, which is held in San Diego, Joss Whedon, creator of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", had let audiences know that he would be interested in a "Buffy" stage production.

"I can't say that I will, or that by the time I try to, anyone would want me to, but yeah, I think [Buffy] belongs there", said Whedon.

The screenwriter/executive producer/director also spoke of the cast from the "Avengers". "What I find is that these characters mesh through these differences really well," he added. "And what I also find is these actors have a great time playing against each other, and they are, as a troupe, actually a much better team than the Avengers are."

"The Avengers" will be opening in the United Stated and in the United Kingdom on May 4, 2012.
