Disney's Jungle Cruise To Set Sail On The Silver Screen
Disney's Feature film division has now set it sails on a cruise, a "Jungle Cruise" to be precise. With the recent success of Pirates of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest starring Johnny Depp, Disney is pushing for the next big franchise to be based on a theme park ride.

In talks to write the screenplay are Al Gough and Miles Millar (Smallville). There is no word on plot details or actors but one might imagine the story will derail a bit from the linear theme park ride and trek further into the jungle than ever before.

Jungle Cruise was one of the original attractions at Disneyland and was also one of the opening day attractions at Walt Disney World. Even though the attraction is consider "dated" by some, it still proves to be one  Disney's most popular theme park attractions across the globe.
