The film will follow the story of Mitch Rapp, a Syracuse grad student who decided to join the CIA after his girlfriend is killed in a terrorist attack. Bruce Willis will play Rapp's mentor and CIA operative.
The film will be produced for CBS films by Lorenzo di Bonaventura. Jeffrey Nachmanoff will be directing and the script was written by Mike Finch. Production will begin Fall 2013.
