Jason Momoa Set to Star in Video Game Based Just Cause
Just Cause, the popular Square Enix video game, will be making its way into the film world.  Jason Momoa is set to star as Rico Rodriguez in the Brad Peyton directed project.

The film will follow the same storyline as the game - Rodriguez is an operative for the organization called the Agency.  Other than that, plot details haven't been released, but will most likely follow Rodriguez on a mission.

The screenplay was written by John Collee (Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World), and will be produced by Peyton and Jeff Fierson through their ASAP Entertainment banner and Roy Lee through his Vertigo Entertainment, Adrian Askarieh through his banner Prime Universe Films; Eva Cao through her Supernova Entertainment; and Mason XU and Fan Dong through DNA Co. Ltd. Finanacing for the film was provided by China-based DNA.

This will be a reunion for Momoa and Peyton, who have worked together on Netflix's Frontier and on Warner Bros.' San Andreas.
