Rosario Dawson will be joining the cast of Zombieland 2. The film is the much-anticipated sequel to the 2009 film starring Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin. All the original actors are set to reprise their roles. Ruben Fleischer will also return to direct.

Other newcomers to the film will be Zoey Deutch and Avan Jogia. 

Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, who wrote the original film, penned the script. The story will feature how the zombies have evolved as well as some new survivors. The gang will be traveling around from the White House through the Mid-West.

Rosario Dawson will next be seen in Briarpatch, USA's crime anthology series.
