Legendary Comedian Jerry Stiller Dies at 92

Ben Stiller took to social media this morning to announce that his father, legendary comedian Jerry Stiller, has died from natural causes. He was 92.

In the tweet, Ben said, "I'm sad to say that my father, Jerry Stiller, passed away from natural causes. He was a great dad and grandfather,  and the most dedicated husband to Anne for about 62 years. He will be greatly missed. Love you Dad."

Jerry Stiller is probably best known for his stint on "Seinfeld" as George Costanza's father, Frank. He also had a starring role in "King of Queens" as Arthur Spooner.

Stiller would be known to older audiences as half of the comedy duo "Stiller & Meara"  alongside his wife, Anne. They gained acclaim for their act after appearing on "The Ed Sullivan Show", as well as other variety shows. Anne died in 2015.

Aside from Ben, Jerry Stiller is survived by his daughter, Amy, and two grandchildren.
