Blumhouse TV and Quibi Teaming up for New Murder Mystery

Blumhouse Television has teamed up with Quibi to produce a new murder-mystery series. "Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue" is the current working title and the series was created by Anthony Horowitz (Midsomer Murders, Foyle's War).

The plot follows the story of nine strangers who survive a small plane crash in a Mexican jungle who, one by one, get murdered. Those remaining from the group are left to figure out who is responsible.

Quibi has two other Blumhouse productions in the works - "Wolves and Villagers" and "Ten Weeks".

The streamer was founded by Jeffrey Katzenberg and launched on April 6.
