The Rolling Stones' Facebook page confirmed the news, stating ""Fear not Pirates fans, we are happy to confirm that Keith Richards will be returning as Captain Teague in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, setting sail May 2011!"
A Disney spokesperson had come forward and denied the rumors, saying that they were "unfounded and not true."
"Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" is being released on May 20, 2011.
