Criminal Minds' Thomas Gibson Fired After On Set Altercation
In a follow up to yesterday's story, Thomas Gibson, one of the stars of the CBS drama "Criminal Minds", has been fired after an altercation on set.

Producers ABC Studios and CBS Television Studios said in a statement, "Thomas Gibson has been dismissed from Criminal Minds. Creative details for how the character's exit will be addressed in the show will be announced at a later date."

Gibson commented on his dismissal, saying "I love Criminal Minds and have put my heart and soul into it for the last 12 years. I had hoped to see it through to the end, but that won't be possible now. I would just like to say thank you to the writers, producers, actors, our amazing crew, and, most importantly, the best fans that a show could ever hope to have."

Gibson had been suspended immediately after kicking a writer on set.  After deliberation, it was decided that he would be fired, and now the show will be faced with the task of how to write him out of the show. He has been a part of the cast for 11 seasons.
