The Fox series, created by Matt Nix and Bryan Singer, will feature on parents who discover that their children are mutants. After they are forced to flee from a hostile government, the family join an underground mutant network in order to survive.
Blink, whose name is Clarice Fong, is said to be a sarcastic and lively. After being traumatized from having to leave the life she knows, she slowly regains her confidence, and adapts to her new life.
Chung will join fellow cast member Blair Redford (Switched At Birth), who plays Sam, the leader of the underground mutant network. Casting is still taking place and no other names have been announced as of yet.
Nix has written the script for the pilot and will executive produce along with Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Jeph Loeb, Jim Chory and Bryan Singer, who is also directing the pilot.
