NBCUniversal Rebooting Saved By the Bell and Punky Brewster

Calling all 80s kids! NBCUniversal's Peacock streaming service will be including a "Saved By the Bell" and "Punky Brewster" reboot! Each series will star original cast members like Elizabeth Berkley and Mario Lopez ("Saved By the Bell") and Soleil Moon Frye ("Punky Brewster"). Just another fun 80s nostalgia trip to enjoy!

Along with these reboots, NBCU will be releasing other original series including a Battlestar Galactica reboot.

"Saved By the Bell" will be executive produced by Emmy-winning 30 Rock writer-producer Tracey Wigfield.

"Punky Brewster" will feature Punky all grown up and raising three children. It will be written and executive produced by Steve and Jim Armogida, with Frye, David W. Duclon and Jimmy Fox also executive producing.

The news series lineup will be offered in the April 2020 launch of the streaming service.
