Lucy Liu has signed on to join the cast of "Shazam! Fury of the Gods". She will play the villain, Kalypso.
Liu will star alongside Zachary Levi as well as other new cast members Rachel Zegler and Helen Mirren. David F. Sandberg is directing from a script by Henry Gayden, and Peter Safran is producing.
"Shazam! Fury of the Gods" is set for a June 2, 2023 release.
