The ultra-popular Xbox game "Gears of War" is heading to Netflix.
The franchise will be expanding to include a feature film as well as an adult animated series. The streamer also isn't ruling out more projects in the future.
"Gears of War" debuted in 2006 on Xbox and followed the storyline of a group of soldiers named the Delta Squad, who fights against the Locust Horder, an alien race. It has had five main releases, as well as various spinoffs, and sold over 40 million copies.
No word on any filmmakers attached or any plot lines have been released.
