This epic cinematic adventure spans the Civil War years from 1861 to 1865. Directed by Kevin Costner, the film offers an emotional exploration of a nation torn apart by conflict, seen through the experiences of families, friends, and adversaries striving to define what it means to be the United States of America.

This marks Costner's return to directing since his critically acclaimed 2003 film Open Range.
