Guy Fieri's culinary showdown, Tournament of Champions, is returning for its highly anticipated sixth season on Sunday, March 2, at 8 PM ET/PT on Food Network and streaming on Max. This season, the stakes are higher than ever, with chefs battling against wild challenges from the unpredictable Randomizer, facing off with surprise opponents, and pushing their skills to the limit in a series of sudden-death rounds. After eight weeks and 31 intense head-to-head battles, one chef will take home the coveted Tournament of Champions belt and a $150,000 cash prize.
"As always, we're turning up the heat with Tournament of Champions," said Fieri. "With all four past champions stepping aside this season, it's anyone's game. Don't miss the qualifiers-this year, it's wide open for any chef to grab that belt!"
Before the main event kicks off, the competition heats up in Tournament of Champions: The Qualifiers, airing Sunday, February 16, at 8 PM ET/PT. Here, 16 chefs will compete for a spot in the tournament bracket, with eight open slots up for grabs-adding four fresh faces to the mix of returning competitors. Then, on February 23, at 10 PM ET/PT, Fieri, Justin Warner, and season III winner Tiffani Faison will break down all the twists and turns of the Randomizer, plus reveal this season's bracket during Tournament of Champions VI: The Bracket Reveal.
The list of this season's competitors includes culinary heavyweights like Karen Akunowicz, Kaleena Bliss, Sara Bradley, Chris Cosentino, Rocco DiSpirito, Amanda Freitag, Stephanie Izard, and many more, plus eight additional winners from the qualifier tournament.
"Tournament of Champions" continues to be one of Food Network's highest-rated shows, attracting over 16 million viewers last season. "With the expanded qualifier slots and a roster packed with talent, season six is going to be full of surprises, and we can't wait for fans to experience it," said Betsy Ayala, Head of Content, Food, Warner Bros. Discovery.
Tiffani Faison will join Justin Warner as a sideline reporter to provide live updates during the competition, while Hunter Fieri interviews chefs backstage. Simon Majumdar takes on a new role as the Judges' Correspondent, offering insights into the winning dishes. The panel of esteemed judges includes Scott Conant, Cat Cora, Alex Guarnaschelli, Wolfgang Puck, Marcus Samuelsson, and many others.
The season finale will air Sunday, April 20, at 8 PM ET/PT, crowning the new champion. Fans can join the conversation using #TournamentOfChampions across social media and get a behind-the-scenes look at the competition through exclusive videos. Starting February 24, viewers can participate in the Tournament of Champions Bracket Sweepstakes, predicting the winners of each round for a chance to win cash prizes.
