hi guys how are you I'm good um so Dax you directed wrote and starred in this film yes what about the TV show made it so appealing to do this um the motorcycles and the California and the two best friends the California yeah yeah cuz I'm from Detroit and when I was a little kid and it was gray for eight months a year to turn on the TV for an hour and see sunshine and people in swimsuits was Heaven and I'm from Chicago so we call it the California all the time too can't wait to go to that California yeah and Michael how didd you get involved with the project um basically it it literally blackmail blackmail fell on my lap um no I had a meeting with Dax and he's like do you want to do it I'm like yes I'm like wait there's no script yet um but I just thought you know it would be really fun and I love the TV show but I know that like you know if it's a movie we can't really do like a family drama so it was going to be a little bit different but uh I was excited I was like I was sold from day one and how was it playing this kind of iconic character I mean that's a little intimidating isn't it yeah well thank God it was like more for a movie you know what I mean it's uh and and it's it's different now you know it's a it's a rated R movie and I just try to I just try to make it my own just like he did his but what if I played Seinfeld at some point I don't know man that would be pretty darn tough it would it would I'm down for that movie it would all right I would not do well can we talk about the motorcycles I'm motorc yeah I'm not a motorcycle person but they were amazing the stunts the speed I was I was just just enthralled with them thank you to me that's the best compliment and my my wife said the same thing like the first time she saw it she goes honey I'm be dead honest I don't care about motorcycles I don't like watching them in movies and I actually got it for the first time like there's you're you're a superhero you can go anywhere you want you want to go up the stairs go up the stairs you want to go in between these cars go so like yeah she she that made me so happy to hear like a non- Enthusiast like get why they're magic you know it's almost like Moneyball like like even people that don't oh yeah I care less about baseball that movie I'm like love it I love baseball but whatever yeah do you guys WR do you own motorcycles do you I do own a motorcycle now but it's a very tame kind of motorcycle he owns uh beasts oh like Ducati motards and it's my number one hobby probably motorcyclist track motorcycle yeah what's the other Duca you have the black one I have a hyper a multi Strada yeah and a 2006 mon postal sport 1000 so good beautiful they were amazing I just have to say oh I wrote it in the movie when you meet me in the uh at at the uh Training Academy that's the motorcycle I'm on that's yeah personal one all right so can we talk about the other people in the movie besides your lovely bride um Vincent andaa come on how do we get Vincent andaa really yeah nothing bad about him I was no i' I've been a I've always been a huge fan and when he told me that he could potentially do it if the dates work out or whatever I was I was blown away cuz I I've been watching that guy forever like Full Metal Jacket you know [Music]
