ABOUT BILLY MADISON
Billy Madison follows a spoiled heir who is forced to return to school when his father doubts he is ready to take over the family business. To earn his inheritance, Billy must repeat grades one through twelve on a strict schedule, putting him back among children and teachers as he tries to prove he can finally act like an adult.
The comedy pairs Adam Sandler’s over-the-top performance with a story about privilege, embarrassment, and unlikely self-improvement. As Billy stumbles through classrooms, rivalries, and a growing crush on his third-grade teacher, the film leans into broad gags while keeping the central stakes simple: pass the test, or lose everything.
