Jim Carrey has signed on to star in "Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall".
He will be playing the role of the Colonel, who gathers together a team of misfit superheroes. The news was tweeted today by director Jeff Wadlow.
Carrey joins the original cast of Chloe Moretz, Aaron Johnson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Nicolas Cage.
