"Dumb and Dumber To", the sequel to "Dumb and Dumber", has been abandoned by Warner Bros. The move isn't coming out of left field, however. The studio has been trying to figure out the logistics of the sequel for quite some time; whether or not to let someone else do the financing while they distributed it, or to just leave the project altogether.

However, this doesn't mean the project is a complete bust.   "Wolf Of Wall Street" financier Red Granite is said to be taking over with the plan to sell foreign.

The film will once again star Jim Carey and Jeff Daniels as Lloyd and Harry on yet another road trip.
