According to reports, the studio has been holding auditions for the the female lead to star along Tatum, but they also say that they may have to find a new male lead as well.
There are no clear reports on whether or not Tatum will stay on as producer, or if they will move along with the project without him.
Tatum's producing partner, Reid Carolin, recently stated that they were planning on making their directorial debut soon. This could possibly be a factor for Tatum's possible need to exit.
