Universal and Disney Team Up for Distribution of Shyamalan's Glass
It has been announced that Glass, the next film in the Unbreakable franchise, will be a joint release venture for Universal and Disney. Universal will be in charge of domestic distribution, while Buena Vista International will be in charge of international.

Glass will be following M. Night Shyamalan's Unbreakable (2000) and this year's Split in the franchise. Principal photography began yesterday in Philadelphia on what is sure to be on of Shyamalan's most anticipated films.

Bruce Willis will reprise his role as David Dunn, Samuel L. Jackson reprises his role as Elijah Price (aka Mr. Glass) and James McAvoy will reprise his role as Kevin Wendell Crumb from Split. The film will also star Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke, also from Split. The film will feature Dunn hunting down Crumb's "The Beast" persona, while Mr. Glass lurks in the background with secrets about both Dunn and Crumb.

Glass is slated for a Jan. 18, 2019 release.
