Netflix in Talks to Acquire Ted Bundy Film Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile
The Ted Bundy film, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival and now is looking for a buyer.

The film stars Zac Efron as Bundy, and tells the story from the viewpoint of his longtime girlfriend, Elizabeth Kloepfer, who is portrayed by Lily Collins. The storyline takes a look at how Kloepfer could have felt - being betrayed and duped by someone she loved and how the man she loved didn't reconcile with the serial killer side of his life. It doesn't feature any of Bundy's killings but does deal with Elizabeth's finding out about them.

It is being reported that Netflix is in talks to acquire the U.S. rights, as well as some international rights, to distribute the film. It is also reported that they are bidding $9 million for the rights.

Netflix is a good home for the film, as they have released The Ted Bundy Tapes, a Ted Bundy documentary that hails from director Joe Berlinger, who is also the director for Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile.
