DCIP brought its Cinergy Event Monitoring technology to CinemaCon after Fathom Events completed a nationwide rollout across more than 1,000 theater locations.
From CinemaCon 2019 in Las Vegas, Digital Cinema Implementation Partners, LLC (DCIP) announced that Fathom Events has completed the rollout of its Cinergy Event Monitoring system across a nationwide network of more than 1,000 theater locations.
DCIP is demonstrating the technology during CinemaCon at Caesars Palace, giving members of the theatrical exhibition industry a look at the system Fathom now uses to monitor and control its in-theater events from a centralized command center.
Cinergy Event Monitoring allows Fathom to track the status and health of presentations across its network, control playback and manage scheduling from a central location. The system can also provide root cause analysis when an event encounters a failure, helping operators identify problems across theaters carrying the same presentation.

For Fathom, which specializes in event cinema and limited-run theatrical presentations, the technology provides centralized oversight of screenings that can take place simultaneously at theaters throughout the country.
The rollout expands an existing relationship between Fathom and DCIP. Fathom had already been using Cinergy Event Booking and Cinergy Event Billing, which connect with its financial systems to manage operations across the organization.
