Nielsen's 2022 streaming chart was released, and it shows that Netflix's "Stranger Things" was the most-watched show in 2022.
The program racked up 52 billion minutes of streaming, which was the highest amount of viewing since 2020, when 57.1 billion minutes of NBC's "The Office" was viewed during Covid lockdowns.
"Stranger Things 4" holds Netflix's title as the number one most-watched English TV series in the first four weeks of release, earning over 1.35 billion hours during that period.
Nielsen also noted that over 19 million years worth of content was viewed in 2002, up from 15 million years in 2021.
